I have been to the Ponderosa II and the feel is great! It's like you just walked into the real Ponderosa on the set.

I'm excited to go!!! I heard about the place several years ago, but it was difficult to find out any info about it until Tom and Louise bought it. My folks lived in Mesa for a time, but had only heard through the grapevine that it existed, nothing more.

I couldn't make it to the 50th celebration, but I talked my wife into this trip...She is a good sport!!!

I love her!

I'm excited to meet Tom and Louise!!!

Tom and Louise are great people. He was involved with the 1999 convention in Tahoe so you know you are in for a great time!

Thanks for the link! I visited the Ponderosa in Nevada years ago. Seeing the house left a lasting impression. Naturally, very disappointed it closed down, but as time goes on...

Yes, I understand! I was there about 2 years before it closed. I would have liked the opportunity to go again.

But on an up note, I am really looking forward to seeing Lorne Greene's place!!! Should be a GREAT time!!!
