I love watching episodes from the TV series of my youth, (50's and 60's). The people in them tended to in their 20's, 30's and 40's. They are now in their 70's, 80's and 90's, if they are with us at all. I find that a little disturbing, as it might also imply something about me.

But at least their performances are there on film and we can see them in their prime anything we wish. I wish i could look in the mirror and do the same thing...

I know exactly how you feel, SWC. Sometimes when I start thinking how old the actors are or how they are dying off, it makes me feel rather sad. I think maybe I should watch more of the shows made today. However, I love watching the westerns of the late 50's and 60s, Dr. Kildare, or Perry Mason.

I am sad because I discovered the joys of this wonderful family show long after all of the principal actors have died. I feel like I missed the gravy train.
