Yes! Thanks for posting that Hunter! Great news, we're more than halfway home now...hopefully CBS Video is committed to going all the way thru Season 14 with this venture.

Interesting to note the timetables between releases:
Between Seasons 1 and 2 - 25 months
Seasons 2 and 3 - 9 months
Seasons 3 and 4 - 3 months
Seasons 4 and 5 - 4 months
Seasons 5 and 6 - 5 months
Seasons 6 and 7 - 14 months
Seasons 7 and 8 - 9 months

So they're averaging approximately 9.5 months between releases with the obvious huge gap of a little over two years between Seasons 1 and 2 inflating it. Leaving that one out of the equation, they are averaging a little over 7 months between releases. I wonder if there's a marketing strategy behind that, or if it's just a matter of how much time goes into putting a complete season set together.

If you haven't been purchasing these (and if you're reading this site, I'm guessing you likely have), do yourself a favor and get them. I realize the public's appetite for owning CD/DVDs is waning dramatically, but these really are spectacular transfers (they're all but high definition), and the extras are great, especially some of the extensive photo galleries, and some of the old advertisements they filmed for the sponsors, along with a few other surprises along the way. And some of the commentaries are terrific as well.

Very happy we'll soon have Season 8 to enjoy!

Larry
