Hope was my dearest friend. We didn't get to see each other often in her last years, because I married and moved to another state. But we stayed in touch whatever way we could. We are, were, the same age. Who would know that we didn't have much longer to make up for our lost time together? I love you, Leah Hope, and I know that you would know how very much I miss you. Rest in peace, Darlin', with no more fear or pain. Tears.
