Most of the Carson-era Tonight Shows from 1962-1969 are long gone, unfortunately, including appearances by Pernell Roberts, Dan Blocker, Boris Karloff and many others.

I think I have a paperback of the Frank Edwards book you mentioned, as well as Stranger Than Science, both picked up from used bookstores in the 1970s.
