Old yes, but accurate history. According to David Canary's stuntman, Ray Mazy (I spoke with him recently), no condos were built (& confirmed w/ the fly-by video at You Tube).

The State of Nevada bought the ranch property from Duffield. Sierra Nevada folk don't like housing tracts that will affect the environment and today, it's just about impossible to build up there.
