Subject: Haskell Boggs Interview

Haskell Boggs (1908-2003) was a director of photography who worked on Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie and Highway to Heaven.

The three hour film includes two interviews. The first session, which runs about two hours, was conducted by Kent McCray on June 25, 1997 in the home of Mr Boggs. The second interview was conducted by Sunny Parich on March 25, 1998.

Haskell Boggs discusses his early years at Paramount working with Carole Lombard, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, James Cagney, Jerry Lewis and others.

At about 27:00 the discussion turns to Bonanza. Mr Boggs shares his thoughts on Michael Landon, Lorne Greene, Dan Blocker and Pernell Roberts. He also talks about the episodes "The Artist" and "Bushwhacked."
