I'm watching what has to be one of my all time favorite episodes right now, "The Legacy." One of the guest stars is James Best, who passed away just within the last couple of days. I always liked his acting...often quirky, nervous, and always riveting. R.I.P. James Best.

I will fondly love him and remember him on the Dukes of Hazzard as Roscoe P Coltraine. He was a unique talent and extremely funny

James Best co-starred with Pernell Roberts in the Western movie RIDE LONESOME which was released just before he signed on for Bonanza. You can watch the movie for free on You Tube. It's a very good movie, and Roberts shows just how good an actor he really was.
