I don't understand why there has been nothing on this. The Virginian has been put on DVD completely, all seasons. I think Rawhide has been as well, for the most part.

If you look at the release dates of the previous DVD packages, the wait is not unusual. CBS releases seasons 3 and 4 in 2012 (July & October), and 5 and 6 in 2013 (February & July). Granted, it's been a good half year since season 6, but considering it took them from 2009-2011 just to get out seasons 1 and 2, I'm optimistic.

Rick had posted back in Oct that Season 7 details would be coming...

I was hoping for an up-date.

I, (like many) hope they release all the seasons. I have 1-6 and have told others!

The prices at Amazon are less than 50% of the original prices. Hopefully, that will increase sales of the first 6 seasons.

The eventual price reductions have been the trend of other Westerns and old TV shows as well.
