John Doucette was in two very good episodes that were very similiar in plot with a mail order bride:

Bonanza - "Knight Errant"
Big Valley - "Devil's Masquerade"

Oh Big VAlley:

I loved 25 Graves at Midas because HEath gets shot, beaten and bloodied.

Also love the episode where Heath's former prison warden comes to work for The Barkleys and ends up saving his life.

Nick gets bit by a rabid wolf.

Jarrod's new marriage ends in tragedy.

And of course: My favorite was PERNELL ROBERTS starring as Irish Padric Madigan. Hilarious accent and his scenes with Peter Breck (Nick Barkley) were amazing!
