Isn't this the same Mill Creek disaster that's been repackaging the same 30-odd BONANZA episodes for years (minus the original theme song) at bargain basement prices (and inferior picture quality) and thwarting CBSHE's Official "Real Deal" DVD sales? I've got a bad feeling about this . . .

Victor French was my favorit actor , he's the kind of next door neighbor you long for , singing > Old Dan Tucker.

Can anyone tell me what he died of , and how old he was ?

I've seen him in other western series. Alway's a happy go luck attitude.

June 1989. Lung cancer. Vic was a heavy smoker & drinker.

He will be greatly missed by all of his Fan's. A man to be admired. I kind of figured he was a drinker , the pressures of his job must have been heavy for him , and I guess smoking does go along with the added stress.
