Subject: Color of costumes

In watching the remastered dvd's of the later seasons of Bonanza I find the colors of various Cartwright outfits interesting. Joe's pants which I always thought of as grey come across as almost a very light plum color. Ben's shirt always looked purple but will change to a dark, dark grey sometimes in the same scene. Candy's pants are really interesting: I say to myself, "they're black" but in a lot of scenes they look purple which is really bizarre.

No color alterations at all. Today’s technology can capture the colors much better than in the late 80s did. Digital technology has come along way since then.
