This was the first of three episodes that featured Jack Kruschen as Giorgio. This would make a great special edition DVD, since in a way, the wine-growing family is like their own show within a show.

It was a pilot for a new NBC series, but the network said it was too racy, so it stayed inside of Bonanza.
