Things are very, very dry, even in the East. And that old growth forest can't be quickly replaced.

The Planet is heating up , lack of rain , parched ground , you've got the perfect storm.

Just say a prayer for all the home owner's that are losing their home's and livestock.

I'm so glad we sold this land , but it might have been better if we hadn't , then the housing tracts wouldn't be lost.
It would just be sage brush and rattle snakes.

I hope the good lord cry's and water's the ground for us.

I do home some containment is possible before all is lost. The East section is the desert I think and that gets the hottest.

The Eastern portion of Washington State Is basically all Desert. Alot of Sage Brush , snakes , and no water.
Just Like Death Valley California.
I'm glad I don't live there , and the ranch is long gone.
It still sadden's me though.

This is very sad. Eventually it affects all of us one way or another-Who pays for all this extra manpower and cleanup, higher taxes, food and fuel prices. Of course the locals are hurt the most and my pryuers are for them. adamseve

This has been very heart breaking for me because I know what the land use to look like , we sold it to a real estate ranch investor , he broke it down into 20 acre parcells and the land is burning , homes being lost , and the ground will once again go back to the ranch land it was originally.
It's what is lost in the transaction that is the sad thing.
Animals have perished. Thankfully no human's. Homes burned to the ground.
