Not my favorite season (overshadowed by both 3 and 5, which have more classic episodes imo) but pretty solid overall with some good shows like "The First Born," "Any Friend of Walter's,"The Quest," "Knight Errant," etc.

The Hayburner
Any Friend of Walter's
Thunder Man
The Decision
The Quest
Hot Day For a Hanging
The Jury
The War Comes to Washoen

I think it's kind of ironic that in The Decision, Ben has to deal with two doctors from the Starship Enterprise: John Hoyt played the ship's doctor in the pilot ("The Cage") and is a judge in this episode. And of course, DeForest Kelley was Dr. McCoy on Star Trek and Dr. Johns in this episode.

I like all the season four episodes on Dan's list, as well as these.

The First Born
Half a Rogue
The Actress

Dan is right, two of the three Enterprise doctors from the original Star Trek did appear in The Decision. The only one missing would be Paul Fix, would played Dr Piper in the second pilot, Where No Man Has Gone Before. Years later Fix would show up in a couple of Bonanza episodes, but is best remembered as Micah, the town Marshal in The Rifleman.

I was a Star Trek fan for several years before I remember seeing The Decision (as a rerun), and was pleasantly surprised to see DeForest Kelley playing a doctor in another of my favorite programs, Bonanza.
