This was truly one of the funniest episodes, though not a perfect offering. Hoss' costume should've been made with a different material...when he was riding, he looked like a Klansman wearing a sheet. I would like to have seen more character development with the kids. Too much time was spent on the bumbling Brooklynites, and quite frankly not all of it worked. The large boulder was about as fake as they come. Still, it was an enjoyable episode thanks to Dan Blocker's talents, and the writing of the egg-throwing scene was most inspired. This seemed like something we would have found on 'Little House,' easily. David Canary nearly stole the episode out from under Blocker...great support.
