After watching season 4 part one I realize just what a great actor Pernell Roberts was Too bad David Dortart did not try to keep him for a few apperences each season

Yes, PR was a good actor and Adam was a wonderful character. But I think he didn't want anything more to do with Bonanza. adamseve

I agree. A good actor, even if he didn't want to stay. He added to the show a lot.
