Subject: Dale Robertson

Dale Robertson (1923-2013) was the star of the TV series Tales of Wells Fargo (1957-1962), and later starred in Iron Horse (1966-1968).

His motion picture work includes Sitting Bull (1954), Son of Sinbad (1955), A Day of Fury (1956) and Law of the Lawless (1964).

He was also a regular on Dynasty during its initial season in 1981, and was in several episodes of Dallas in 1982.

Sad news. Always liked his performances on early TV. Just received an autographed photo from him a couple of weeks ago.

One of his movies I have never seen is A Day of Fury (1956), which some say could have been an inspiration for High Plains Drifter (1973).

Tales of Wells Fargo is currently showing in the morning on Cozi TV everyday. (Cozi TV is a new digital sub-channel found on NBC owned-and-operated stations.)
