How many of our board member's have the Old > Welcome To The Ponderosa Album By Lorne Greene ?? It's an old .33 ??

I've had mine since the early 60's if I recall.

I think the really eerie song is > "Sand".
(Endless Burning Sand )

I Can picture an old miner 49'er trapsing Across Death Valled Looking For A Water Hole That Is Deadly Poisonious.

I think the LP came out in early 1964, and later that year Ringo would prove to be a number one hit for Lorne Greene. Ringo landed at the top of the charts in December 1964.

I don't own a copy, but have heard it. My favorites include the Bonanza theme, An Ol' Tin Cup, Ghost Riders in the Sky and Sand.

Endless Prairie , Sand , Ringo , Old Tin Cup ( and battered old coffee pot , a saddle a pick and a spade , telling the story of an old 49'er and the wonderfull plan's he once made ).
Ghost Rider . Lorne Greene did a FANTASTIC JOB*

I think i'll go put on the .33 and Listen to it.

. . . as "Maxwell Smart" would have said.

"Four Days to Furnace Hill

was on the other day on METV, and featured Bruce Dern,

of "Victoria Barkley" had to conk him as "Gabe Skeels" over the head so as not to drink the poisoned water.

At least they didn't die of cancer.

As cancer only exists in an acidic environment.

One local says the cure is to each baking soda (alkaline) with maple syrup, in that the cancer eats both the sweet as attracted to that and then the cancer cells die from the baking soda, but that another study says the maple syrup is an anti-oxident in itself and so boosts your immune system. So it like a double whammy against the cancer creeps.

Let 'em have it, if you know somebody that has this.

I wonder how many cactus's were eaten ( Drank) for it's watery content ??

I would never drink water from any pond in the desert.

Nor should you drink water from a mountain stream , you didn't see that herd of elk up stream go potty in it.
