Subject: Garner Ranch

Just wanted to be sure you know that Garner Ranch, across from Lake Hemet near Idyllwild was the setting for a number of first season shots that you have listed as "Strawberry Valley." The guys wrote their names on a tree that was lost to beetles and lightning, but our family (my sister still lives there) shares great memories of participating in those "Bonanza" shoots. Garner Ranch played host to many film and TV crews over the years including "Hopalong Cassidy," "Fury," "The Virginian" and the old Gene Autry westerns. Loved all the pictures here! Thanks...
