Why would he blame Lorne Greene for something that happened in the Stock Market?

I'm not sure how Bonanza affected Star Trek if they were on NBC together. I remember vaguely Star Trek went to 10 pm on Friday nights. I had to beg to stay up to see it and only got a dispensation because it was on Friday night. I think that was one of the things that killed it, along with some horrible episodes such as "Spock's Brain". Even as a kid, I recognized that was a pretty bad episode.

Though I do remember thinking as Shatner was looking at Greene in "Swing Out"and see Shatner thinking "Damn! Your show was on 7 seasons before mine ever started and mine is now canceled (1970) and your damn show IS still on!" Though Shatner hasn't done too badly for himself over the years, the '70s were the pits for him. Has anyone seen that clip of Shatner doing "Rocket Man" in the '70s?
