When all the ladies in blue dresses died. When Erin died-thw worst. When Joe went nuts when Alice died. When Adam rode off into the sunset forever. When all the boys were shot, stabbed, beatup or dying. When Ben was held for ransom. When Ben was stakedout Indian style. In dark star when Joe was a tree. In the Crucible when Adam was half nuts-Lee Marvin was a challenge for PR to act up to. When Hop Sing was not allowed to marry-who knew. When Hop Sing ran out of chocolate chip cookies-opps they weren't invented til the 1930's. And sooo many more. adamseve

Here are a few that come to mind.

The Crucible
Lee Marvin is amazing as Mr Kane. One of the best Adam Cartwright episodes.

The Dark Past
Especially the scene with Dev (Dennis Hopper) telling how his family was slaughtered.

Thunder Man
Simon Oakland as the creepy Mr Poole.

The Smiler
An earlier episode in the same vein as Thunder Man, with Herschel Bernardi.

The Quality of Mercy
Little Joe and his father clash over the concept of mercy-killing.

A House Divided
Brother against brother. But man, that Mr Kyle (Cameron Mitchell) sure can fight for a guy with one arm!
