Yes, it needed a better ending than those few followup movies. And I still think Jack Lord would have done justice to the Adam role. A character too interesting to just vanish. But they had no need to worry about syndication then. Now the seasons are so short, down from 32 to 20 now 8-10weeks. Dallas just started in mid June and had its season finale a few weeks ago. Borderline shows like the new Nikita, which lacks the charisma and style of the old Wilson/Dupuis show, and Michelle Geller's Ringer may be brought back for another season just to get enough shows to syndicate. adamseve
