This is important to discuss now, because the extra contents are always produced prior to the production of the DVD set in question. Comments and thank you.

I hope we are already too late for 3 and 4 but I would like to see more of the sets in the studios, I think it would be neat to see the house set all set up in the building from way up high.

I would like to see more bloopers, mistakes with the horses, blown lines etc,etc and more intervies with especial guess Stars.

I'd like to see "then and now" comparisons of filming locations and/or just filming location profiles in general. Somebody associated with this site could be really helpful with that. Featurettes on places like the Janss Conejo Ranch, Bourne's Meadow, Solitude Canyon, etc. would be a nice touch.

I like behind the scene stuff, like pictures of the sets or actors seating around waiting for scene, I also like when actors comment on their episodes as we are watching it.

I like the idea of Then & Now Location shots, this could be a featurette on forth coming seasons also... I'd like to see clips of Lorne, Pernell, Dan & Michael from TV & Movie westerns they were in prior to Bonanza.

I think having a former guest star or character actor watching the episode with you and commenting on specific scenes is excellent.

Gunsmoke has done this.

Little House also did an episode with Alison Arngrim doing play by play talking about every scene including the mud fight she had with Melissa Gilbert and how much fun they had filming it.

Honestly, I would prefer they use the money to market the DVDs more (selling more means they'll continue with more seasons). I'd be willing to do without extras, if it meant more seasons might be produced.

Good point you have! I've covered all the locations personally for the web site and that means spending lots of time and money researching, traveling to filming locations for over 30 years since I was a kid. CBS can't afford to do that in the way I have.

As someone else mentioned, I'd be happy to do without extras if that is what is keeping production to a snail's crawl. Love the extras included in the first two seasons, especially the photos, but they don't begin to make up for the ridiculously long wait for the EPISODES.
