I have a question for anyone that can shed light on this issue.

Little House On The Prairie Was Set In Minnesota.
Minnesota Does NOT Have Sage Brush.
Yet The Location Used To Shoot This Series Has Sage Brush All Over The Place.
Minnesota Does Not Have Desert's Like LHOTP Use's.

Poetic license I guess. How much snow and cold did we ever see on Bonanza? Both shows were mainly filmed in LA so we just have to get over it. To kill an Irishman was about the Cleveland mofia but was filmed in Detroit because they gave them a better deal. At least Hawaii five 0 is really filmed in Hawaii. adamseve

I Guess I Just Enjoy Watching A Series When It's Actually Shot On Location With The Correct Ground Clutter That I Know Should Be There.

That's Like The John Wayne Movie > North To Alaska.
There Is NO Sage Brush In Alaska.
And The Cabin They Use On This River Is The Same Cabin And River Used In True Grit With John Wayne.
I Heard That Was Filmed In Arkansas ?? I Forget.

Hollywood productions are the least accurate with exterior filming in most cases. This dates back to 1920's with silent films and features. They had to make due with what they got. In some cases, big budget movies would be filmed on location and they'd look better. On the other hand, British and European productions surpass US far and wide with location accuracy.
