Subject: Bonanza Barfly & Juror, Hank Robinson (1923-2012), R.I.P.

Here's another Character Actor whose face we would probably recognize, but not the name of:

Hank Robinson, March 27, 1923 - April 7, 2012 (1923–2012)who was just in last hour's "The Busters" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0594408/ co-staring Gary Busey and John Beck, with Lynn Benisch who I read did put on a show for some Vietnam Vets at a VA hospital with her childhood friend back in the 1960s and 70s. This Episode #20.22 of 1975 was just on METV from 1-2:00 p.m. today.

I see from his imdb page that he was in the two episodes of Bonanza being: The Luck of Pepper Shannon (barfly) of 1970, and The Crime of Johnny Mule (juror) of 1968, plus before that of Hang 'Em High, two episodes of The Big Valley as a juror and a diner patron, both un-credited, and after this of onto: Alias Smith and Jones, The Towering Inferno, 11 episodes of Gunsmoke, Columbo, Quincy,M.E., Fantasy Island, Rocky, II, 6 episodes of The Rockford Files, Lou Grant, Greatest American Hero, Riptide, Newhart, Simon and Simon, and Quantum Leap.

"The Busters" is among my favorite episodes from Gunsmoke's 20th and final season. Gary Busey is superb as a fatally injured young cowboy, with John Beck as his best friend and Lynn Benisch as the love interest.

My other season 20 favorites include "Thirty a Month and Found" with Gene Evans and the two-part "Island in the Desert" with Strother Martin.

P.S. Thanks Tim for adding "Gunsmoke" as I forgot to type this in.
