I thought this episode was very socially relevant (then and now) and I liked how it balanced the drama with some excellent comic relief-- the scene where the ladies' tea is interrupted by a nude descending the staircase was truly inspired. Equally inspired was the scene in town where, after a haircut, the young native (who is now acting like a white man) sees the old tribal man outside the saloon. It was a poignant reflection on the heartbreak of a displaced nation, and the people whose very survival and dignity depended on their success as hunters.
