Personally, I love the lost episodes more than the classic 260. I think it is due to the fact that the lost episodes are not seen as much on TV as the classic 260, which are shown over and over again. As far the lost episodes go,I have alot of favorites, but if I had to narrow it down to my fav. 5 I would go with the following:

1) FOREVER...A touching love story that really makes u wanna cry when u watch it and see the tragedy that unfolds for Joe and his wife.

2) Decision At Los Robles...A Classic episodes where Ben is seriously wounded by John Walker and then Walker is shot and killed by Ben then you have the skeptical doctor, the padre who never gives up hope and the Mexican villagers who finally join forces with Joe to team up against Jed Walker. My favorite solo episode of the lost bunch.

3)Kingdom Of Fear...We all know the story where Ben, Candy and his sons are taken as prisoners of the chain gang. One of the most tense fearful episodes in the history of the show and an all time classic.

4)Thorton's Account...Now the hightlight of this episode is Ben taking that long fall down that steep hill and Joe has to get help for him before its too late. It still burns a hole in me when I hear Carl Reindel's character tell Joe "He's your old man, you get him up" It just pisses me of that ppl can be so cruel. Anyhow great episode.

5)The Hunter...What can I say about this one..Corporal Tanner is a psycho trying to hunt and kill Joe in the wilderness..this is a good episode to watch when your by yourself with no interruptions. I knda gets in to ur head as u see the deep focuses of Tanner and Joe as well. One of the best episodes.

There you have it. Those are the best of the best for me as far as BONANZA:The Lost Episodes are concerned.

Well, after reading that, WWF, I want to see them worse than ever. I'm so glad they're finally going to be shown again. In July,TVLand is going to lose at least one viewer to Encore Western. But, thank you to TVLand for showing the first eps for as long as they have. But they have cut out so much from each ep. Just think...no commercial interruptions on Encore Westerns...how do they do that, I wonder?

Encore is a premium movie channel, that's why! As for TV Land, my wife Kirsten was watching Bonanza the other day with Hoss. LOL.
