Subject: CAN YOU HELP DRIVE A RESCUED DOG TO ITS NEW FAMILY?

Hello Fellow Dog Lovers,
CAN YOU HELP DRIVE A RESCUED DOG TO ITS NEW FAMILY?

If you enjoy the volunteer experience and you love dogs, from this volunteer firefighter family right here in New Hope, I can tell you it is a very rewarding act of kindness so needed by our K-9 friends. Volunteers from all over the US (myself included) act as transporters for dogs saved from shelters, puppymills, rescues, etc. who have been adopted by families far from the shelter. You can do one a year or as many as you can.

On the East Coast, more volunteers are needed in Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, to Delaware, all areas of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, especially in the north Jersey to New York (GW Bridge area crossers are really needed!)and Connecticut borders.

The transport or "legs" are mapped out by volunteer rescue coordinators who ask for volunteer drivers who are then connected with other drivers - who together complete the trip. You might volunteer to drive 50 miles or more - or what you can. It is so rewarding to save a dog and know you have helped it to live and get to a new home. Here is more information for anyone who wants to learn more.

East Coast K-9 Rescue Transporters Loop (my new group)

For NEW & SEASONED Rescue Transport Drivers in the Eastern States to meet each other, particularly in the DC, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York & Connecticut areas where drivers are needed. Meet others with whom you might make a familiar connection and a successful transport. This is a new group, just created and if it grows it will be a great help to us all.

Thanks for your time. Peace and safety to all our American Volunteers
