Rodeo Fire Ravages Northern Arizona - Companion animal rescue operation begins - HELP & DONATIONS NEEDED NOW.

Companion animals in the fire area need our help. This includes the towns of Payson, Holbrook, Pine Top, Heber, Eagar, and others.
The local shelters in the area do not have the means to house and care for all these animals. Many local and national organizations are there trying to locate and protect these family pets.
Organizations present in Northern Arizona are Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Arizona Humane Society, Animal Planet/ AHA, Humane Society of the United States and others.
THE ANIMALS NEED HELP NOW.

You can help by:
Donating money to the Rodeo Fire Fund.
Donating crates or kennels to house the animals.
Donation of space or facilites to house these animals.

This group is for NEW and SEASONED K-9 RESCUE TRANSPORTERS to meet each other who live in the Eastern States, particularly in DC/VA/MD/PA/NJ/NY where drivers are much needed. Interact with others with whom you might make a connection for a successful rescued animal transport. Post transports you are involved in that need help in the Eastern States. Share your knowledge of the best and safest places on the road to meet. Help others traveling in your area with tips, directions, road information, etc..
