Please DO NOT surrender your dog to a shelter!

This goes for EVERYONE with any dog and any breed unless you really (?) have no other option. If you do, you must know from the particular shelter what will become of your pet if no one adopts it! There are good shelters .. and there are horrific ones. Educate yourself first, please, before you surrender any pet.

Contact every group below until you find help and please do not give up! If they can't help and you must surrender your dog to a shelter, you must insist they contact you if the dog is not adopted and is scheduled to be put to sleep.

Do not hesitate to contact and ask ALL Eskie rescues from any region for help because they will have other people in other areas to refer you to for help.

If you are local to eastern PA or NJ and you still have not found help in any Eskie rescue, contact me for more local all breed rescues in our area. You should exhaust all Eskie rescues first.

ESKIELOVERS rescues American Eskimo Dogs in need, provides loving home care as opposed to a shelter, medical treatment, training, and finds homes for them.
ESKIELOVERS saves American Eskimo Dogs from shelters, humane societies, and takes in strays and owner surrenders.
