Subject: I've been such a bum!

Hey Everybody!
I wanted to tell you that the website looks awesome!! Way better than...well, some other's that I've seen :) I've been lazy though and I haven't been posting messages. I was trying to think of a cool name...I decided to stick with Amy's suggestion. In case you didn't know I had two nasty stress fractures within 9 months of each other (hence the name)...of course if you add all the other injuries from the past year...but we won't get into those. I do have another to add to the list though! I was running Monday in the dark and another curb just jumped out at me! Well, I guess it was a hole in the sidewalk...anyway, I rolled my ankle (it ended up being sprained), but I continued my run. It was really swollen the next day, but the doc said I could run and bike on it as long as it didn't hurt...so I am! I have to say though...I feel very out of shape. When I go run 5 miles I try not to think that I used to be able to do 3 times that without a problem. It's coming back though. All I know (and don't take this the wrong way) I'm a little tired of watching you guys run all the time! I want to get in on it too!
Alright....this is getting to be way too long! Good job at nationals Pat...a friend of mine won the women's 5k and she told me that she saw someone wearing a Truman t-shirt or something down there...it must have been you. I can't wait to get back to K-ville! (I never thought I'd say that!)
Take care everyone and keep training hard! :)
