She leads the new steed into an empty box, picking up a grooming kit along the way. She'd find him some tack soon, but she set to work first with the brush, running it down his sides 'til they gleamed like polish amber, then using a fine comb she de-tangled his mane and tail 'til that too fell like silk around his hocks and crest. A final flick and he was ready, she exited the box and returned a few minutes later with a snaffle bridle and a simple exercise saddle. The soft leather was well worn and meant she could tell how the horse worked. She lifted this 'pon his broad back and tightened the girth, then she slipped the supple leather over his head and buckled it. He was ready. She opened the door and led him out, picking up her hat and jamming it on her head along the way she led him toward the indoor arena..
