Ok listen up, this isn't the official JTF site, members of the nit will most likely not come here and post messages. You can find out info on the JTF recruiting through the DND site at www.dnd.ca .... you should also buy the book "Canada's Secret Commandos, The Unauthorized Story Of The Joint Task Force Two" written by: David Puglises. There's in recruiting info in this book and it also talks about some of the history of the JTF2, it's a great book to invest in if you are interested in applying.

Here's some of the stuff that I'll tell you, I hope that it's of any help to those that would like to apply to the JTF2 at some point.

1) In order to join the JTF2you need to be working in the military reserves for about 4yrs or you need to be working in the reg. force for about 2-3yrs.

2)Both genders of the CF have the right to apply to the JTF2

3)You apply through your CO at the military unit that you work at.

4)The fitness requirements for the JTF2 is VERY demanding, but don't think that you need to be a 6-7 foot tall buff person to join, because, you don't, you just need to be fit, both mentally and physically! ... If you make it to Phase 3 than you will under go rigorous fitness under VERY stressful situations, the purpose of this is to separate te weak from the strong.

4)There are different areas to work within the JTF, you can work in Cat.A (special operation Assaulters) or Cat.B (mobility and Specialists)
