This was an ok ep.

In "Parting Gifts", we had Cordy mourning for Doyle, and this was Angel's turn. We get hints from both Angel and Wesley about their childhoods. The A/C scenes were relaxed and comfortable, like the brownies, her prodding him into sharing his feelings about Doyle, and researching the book together. And my favorite, when Angel says "it was full of roasty goodness", it's cute to hear him speak like her. You can kind of see them all asserting themselves in this ep.

I liked this ep. The A/C/W interaction was great. We also got some great A/C stuff. We got to see Angel dealing with Doyle's death and some insight into Angel and Wes', childhood and father issues.

I think the creepiest thing about this ep. was the fact that the kid was the true evil.
