Subject: Scots wa hae.

An American form the USA named Dunlop found he had Scots ancestors. So he goes on a trip to Scotland, to see where his people came from.

Whilst he was there, he goes into a store to buy a kilt. He relates the tale of his ancestors to the storekeeper. The owner says to him. "Aye laddie, it so happens I have a Dunlop tartan in stock. On the shelf up there." So he sells the kilt, and all the paraphenalia, to the yank. The yank happily hands over the money and goes on his way.

The junior shop assistant, watches this transaction with his mouth open, and getting furthur open all the time. Finally he finds his voice and says to his boss.

"Sirr I'd nae be wantin ta interrupt yer while yer makin a shillun sir. But ye sold the wee yunk a MacIntyre tartan."

"Och aye laddie." says the owner.
"Dunlops hae ben makin tyres fer years."
