I find these items from the NY Times to be so interesting.

Extended Operation Set in West Bank After Terror Bombing:
Israel sent troops and tanks into Yasir Arafat's West Bank compound today, shelling his private offices and battling his security guards.

Two-Edged Diplomacy:
Arab leaders offered Israel terms for eventual peace on Thursday while encouraging Palestinians to keep fighting in the meantime.
