Subject: Spike Milligan is buried

Comedian and writer Spike Milligan was buried yesterday after a simple family funeral. Milligan, 83, was farewelled by about 100 mourners – the gathering surprisingly boasted none from the entertainment world – and was denied his request to be buried in a washing machine.
But his gravestone will carry another of the Irishman's bizarre requests. It will read: "I told you I was ill."
