Too bad he wound up dead on the floor with a needle in his arm. The Wildebeestes from Windhoek would have happily seen his performances for many years afterward. The man had an appreciation for The Edge. Had he been born in the year he died, he might have been able to find a better way to satisfy his need to live on The Edge. Perhaps he would have become one of those faces frozen in the ice on the way to the summit of Mount Everest.

The world treats me generally well. There are days. Like yesterday when I had to do the same thing 3 times because someone else's troubles kept intruding on mine and tearing up what I had just planted. This put me in a foul mood and I wound up shouting at a little boy who had done nothing worse than being a little boy at a time when that was an extra aggravation. Today the world treats me better. Today the little boy is a joy to have and to hug. Everyone's days should be more like today and less like yesterday.
