Subject: Vectrex Problem

Hi,
I have got a problem with a Vectrex I have only just brought!!!!
It's as if the part which controls the beam can't move around correctly and the lines and dots only get draw in the upper left, the picture I can see looks like it could be minestorm but the CRT can't draw it properly.
The brightness control, just makes the dots and lines brighter/dimmer.
The machine seems to be going throught start up, then plays minestorm, all the sounds seem to work.

Has anybody any idea what could cause a fault like this?
