Subject: minestorm

I don't know if I found something cool or unprecedented or what, but after beating level 13 on Minestorm on one occassion, it flashed "game over", instantaneously upon completion of level 13, but the game was not over. The game skipped ahead to level 15. I finished level 13 with 4 ships left. Did I find an "easter egg"? On other occassions, the game ended after level 13.

That's a bug. For every level you complete after level 13, get your ship as close to the center of the screen as possible right before you destroy the last mine, or else the game will end (dunno why, but if it takes a few seconds for the cinematic when your ship gets sucked into the center, poof, game over!).

It's always worked for me :)

i've heard rumours about a glitch on the original built in game of minestorm which was why there was a minestorm released on cartridge as well. mine hasnt got this glitch for some reason as I have played it to the point of where the score is well into 7 figures cant remember exact score but it was something like 1011340 and took forever...

but then hey its me favourite game

That's no rumor, the fix of Mine Storm II *was* released on cartridge. It's very rare nowadays.
