Yep, the black plastic clip is snapped in 2. This is the piece I need to replace. I'm still looking for this if anyone has one to sell or whatnot.
I'm not sure what you are describing with the guitar wire. I'm trying to picture this, but can't think of how this would work. If you don't mind, how would you do this...??

i have a junk controller. But its real beat up, if u can describe nthe part u need better maybe i can send it to u.

- Okay if u un solder the wires attached to the joystick and remove the srews you can totally remove the joystick from the controller box. If u look at it from the bottom youll see two whiteish oval spring clips with spring wire in them. If your joystick isnt centering usually, it the wire inside them thats broken. You cab buy a unwoven thick guitar string and fold it into a v shape an stick it in where the old wire was. Then after slowly guiding it through u can fold it down on the outside.

- My broken joystick has one working white spring clip. Im not exactly sure what part u are refering to with a black 2 clip.

I would be willing to buy the entire controller off of you. But would like to have a plastic "clip" instead of more stuff I have no space for sitting there.

It's one of the plastic "clips" or "springs" though they really aren't, that kinda cross the bottom view of the joystick part of the controller. They make it spring back.

The part you are referring to has to be the part that one of the clips pops into. The only thing white that I have seen inside the controller is those "white things" you referred to. :]

i get what your talkin about. you mean the black plastic centering bars that hold the metal joystick in place in the bottom of the controller. they are connected to the spin clips i was talkin about. ill try to figure out how to remove them when i get some time in the near future.

If you should decide to tear down a controller that's crapped out and are looking to sell/trade/ect. one of those clips, please drop me an e-mail or put up a response here.
