Subject: minestorm dissapointment

I always remember in the instruction booklet for minestorm it said get to level 15 or something and enter a new universe. well for months me and my brother tryed in vain to get to the next universe, then finally i got to the specified level and well nothing happened the game just carried on as normal. i can remember being really disappointed, lied to. did any one else have this experience or was my console dodgy. email me and let me know. my vectrex is still at my mothers and my kids still play it, minstorm, scramble and starhawk.

I remember being young and playing minestome and reaching, I believe it was level 13 when I entered a new universe. I do remember it was touchy if you hit any buttons that it would reset when skipping levels. Incidentally I would say I was impressed with the game and finally mastered it, all 87 levels. Although its been a few years, I often am tempted to drag it out and play it once again. I did find the higher levels more challenging, the invisible level the most difficult. Let me know if you or anyone has been able to get through the last level, I have had 20 plus lives and still unable to figure a way through it!!
