Re: RA+A Spectrum I+ -- BaronVR, 12:11:46 12/25/99 Sat
Actually, I also thought you might have had one. I thought you were asking in general...in any case, there is some emulation that is blessed by the copyright holders, but I also believe that there is another kind of emulation that is akin to finding something in a dumpster and making use of it. The Spectrum copyright holders have not been heard from...at the same time I must say that I would be happy to remove all traces of the ROM from my site should they wish it so. The assumtion is that the Spectrum Color Test is a dinosaur which even the original copyright holders no longer care about, and I believe that any knowing person would come to the same conclusion. However, if the copyright holders would like to make it official and release the ROM the way Jay Smith did, then I would be happy to make their contribution known and publicize their current projects...

I dunno, I thought you might have one. You could be asking if it's "OK" to emulate because you are afraid of copyright infringement. But I can only know what you tell me :) so I prefer to ask before assuming. Thanks.
