Ga daarnaast ook eens kijken op www.animeondvd.com , daar vind je een lijst �n reviews van ALLE offici�le Engels gesubde anime-DVDs (waaronder enkele reviews van uw dienaar, ahem...).

In geval van twijfel: als de hoes vermeld dat er Chinese/Cantonese subtitles op staan, is het in 95% van de gevallen mis.

Het argument pro-bootleg dat ik blijf terughoren is dat ze zogenaamd duurder zijn dan offici�le releases. Vele online-stores zoals Manga Distribution, The Right Stuf, Digital Eyes enzovoort houden vrij regelmatig clearance sales, waarbij je titels heel goedkoop kunt oppikken, vooral nu met de lage dollar-koers. Die fameuze Lain-box, maar dan wel de echte, stond twee maanden geleden bij The Right Stuf nog aan 35 euro. En de maand ervoor heb ik de volledige "Votoms" collectie(een modderfukker van een set van 16 DVDs) kunnen kopen voor 90 euro. Het is dus gewoon een kwestie van een beetje geduld uit te oefenen en wat rond te snuisteren op het net.
