Yeah well...

It's true that last year Star Trek and Star Wars took a great deal of the space and time. I think that the '.A.' in F.A.C.T.S. doesn't get enough attention.
Last year everyone of the press (newspapers, TV,...) that got to FACTS looked very amused at all the amazin costumes, amazing starships, amazing fans... and forgot about manga/anime. And that's a shame because manga/anime is still seen as a debilitating (sex and violence right?) form of recreation. Maybe otakus (or just plain fans) could be noticed more this year? I mean, last year for instance only two animecosplayers got to get to FACTS (I was one of 'm ^_^)
Luckily this year we will have the best projection ever, but couldn't we use FACTS to teach to the world what great art anime is?

I mean, I love Star Trek and dito Wars; Seven of Nine rules, Boba is more than welcome, Borgs are the best, (leave Natalie out of it, she wasn't that good you know!) but you have to give some credit to anime, manga, and j-pop.
Look around in other countries for fun and entertaining activities! Get yourself an anime-karaoke, organize a noodle slurping competion, build a 'nostalgy' room with all of the greatest old anime (harlock, gigi, hell even 'Remi'...)

I'd lik to come cosplayed as Wonerwoman or Seven of Nine or whatever, but just to get some attention on the manga and anime, this year I choose to go as Lulu or Iria, or as Belldanday, dunno.

So don't separeate the five F.A.C.T.S. letters but give each of the what it deserves...
