I also enjoyed this film and wish it had gotten more recognition than it did. I thought Bullock did a very good job as a selfish, chaotic drunk. Buschemi was good, though I would have liked to have seen more of him. Gunter was a riot. "Look at my package!" And the whole tangent about forks had me rolling.
Viggo dissolved into his character and was really very good,as usual. The scene in the stall where Bullock bites his head off makes you cringe with how uncomfortable the whole situation is, I think he played it all very well. And his closet addiction to the soap opera was hilarious. Even more so now that I know he doesn't really watch tv, it makes his acting to cover it up even funnier.
