To all concerned friends, FFW members:
It is my understanding that FFW Co-Founder and webmaster Sock Underwood was unable to contact many friends and associates before he had to return to Texas last week. So, in the event that you have not heard from him prior to this posting, I am letting you know what is going on in order
to avoid continual confusion.
As I posted earlier on the FFW board Edd had a sudden seizure just after leaving to join Mr. & Mrs. Gardner, Co-Founder Allen McQuaid, Mr. Underwood, and Lenore Raphael in Florida. A friend of Edd's contacted me to let me know his condition: Sheila Wilson explained to me that Edd would
not be with us today had he not been rushed to emergency facilities in time after landing near Morristown, TN.
Ms. Wilson reported to me that Edd is now doing somewhat better after having gone through much treatment, observation, and tests. It appears that the seizure/collapse was related to extreme stress.
Sock Underwood has asked me to assume the duties of the FFW webmaster on a temporary basis as he was called to be with family again in Texas. Edd's sister and brother-in-law, Mark and Gina Osborne, friend Sheila Wilson, and I have offered our help until Edd and Sock are both able to continue.
Ms. Wilson indicated that Edd will get to come home (to Elizabethton, TN) on Thursday, Dec. 19th if his doctors, Dr. Garland and Dr. Hill, finally allow it.

I hope that I've helped to answer these questions.
I thank God that Edd is doing ok according to Ms. Wilson.
