They both have a certain relevancy in our everyday lives, but I suppose it's the light touch of humour implied here that tickles my fancy.

Something akin our "not seeing the Forest for the Trees" analogy. We seldom recognize the diminished, or diminishing, extent of our burdens, until we ask another to shoulder them for us.
