12 kokuki is based on Chinese history, myth, clothes....all sort of things, you know, but, no, as a Chinese myself I do not feel the story is so...well Chinese.
And as the quality of translation, it actually not bad, but not good either. Personally i think the chinese translater tended to get a little out of line, used some really hilarious sentences that could make you laugh you brain out at times like....Keiki was in pain, Yoko was hurt, or somebody just got killed.
Oh, and in Chinese version, Keiki is a "jerk", "jackas*", "a*shole"....you get my drift.
I think I will give it 70 point.
